Starting in Tarangire National Park, known for its towering baobabs and large elephant herds, you’ll experience the beauty of woodlands teeming with wildlife. Next, Lake Manyara National Park awaits, with its stunning Rift Valley setting, tree-climbing lions, and hippo-filled shores. From there, journey to the remote and dramatic Lake Natron, a surreal soda lake where flamingos breed and Maasai culture thrives.

Continuing into the world-famous Serengeti, you’ll explore its endless plains, home to the Great Migration and the Big Five. Finally, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with one of the densest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. Each destination offers incredible game drives, captivating landscapes, and cultural encounters, making this safari a rich, immersive experience across Tanzania’s natural wonders.

Arrival :

Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha, a bustling city nestled at the foot of Mount Meru.

Depending on your arrival time, you can enjoy an optional city tour or relax at your hotel, preparing for the safari adventure ahead.

Day 01 :

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Depart in the morning for a two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park.
For this first day of safari enjoy an afternoon game drive. Known for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers unique chances to view elephants, giraffes, and many other species. Watch for predators such as lions, as well as a vibrant array of bird species.
Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at a lodge or tented camp within or near the park.

Day 02 :

Tarangire - Lake Manyara

After breakfast, take a scenic one-hour drive to Lake Manyara National Park.

Explore this lush park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and large flocks of pink flamingos along the soda lake. You’ll have a chance to spot elephants, hippos, and other animals in the diverse habitats.

Depending on timing and availability, enjoy an optional canoeing excursion or a cultural visit to nearby Mto wa Mbu village for a taste of local life.

Day 03 :

Lake Manayara - Lake Natron

Depart after breakfast for the drive to Lake Natron, known for its surreal landscapes and flocks of flamingos. The journey takes approximately 3-4 hours, with breathtaking views along the way.

Upon arrival, take an afternoon to explore the lake, a significant breeding ground for flamingos. You may also witness the unique reddish-pink hues of the water due to high mineral content.

Option Maasai Village Visit & Waterfall Hike: Immerse in local Maasai culture with a guided village visit and a hike to the Engare Sero waterfall.

Day 04 :

Lake Natron - Serengeti

Head to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, passing through scenic landscapes.
A first game drive into the well know Serengeti.

Day 05 :

Serengeti

Full-Day Game Drives: Over the next two days, explore the vast plains of Serengeti, where you may witness the Great Migration, with wildebeests, zebras, and predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Optional Hot Air Balloon Safari: For an unforgettable experience, consider a sunrise hot air balloon safari, offering panoramic views of the Serengeti.

Day 06 :

Day 07 :

Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater

Travel to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a stop to visit Olduvai Gorge, an archaeological site known as the “Cradle of Humankind.”

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to an extraordinary density of wildlife, including black rhinos, elephants, hippos, and a large lion population.

Day 08 :

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

Head back to Arusha, where you can shop for souvenirs or visit cultural sites if time permits.
